Frequently Asked Questions

We aim to accept no more than 5 liveries at any one time in addition to our own small herd. This is to ensure we can accommodate enough space for the horses.

We operate small livery insurance and third party liability. We require liveries who ride to maintain their own rider insurance and a copy is required before livery begins.

For general rehabilitation and barefoot transitioning we can confidently offer a tailored plan.

Due to being unable to guarantee 100% grass free livery and as such we cannot offer rehabilitation for cases of severe laminitis.

No, unfortunately we do not have the facilities required for stallions.

We have a strict no back shoes policy for safety and request that horses with front shoes are transitioned to barefoot *with exception to glue on/formahoof on the fronts within 6 months of livery commencing. If this doesn’t suit your horse, that’s okay, our system probably isn’t suited to you right now but you are always welcome in the future.

No, costs are calculated per equine.

In order to maintain a routine we don’t offer a part or DIY livery. All feeds, rug changes and cleaning takes place at the same time each day in a certain order so that the horses are familiar and this reduces stress within the herd.

First we will send you out a brief questionnaire, this is to check that our facility will suit you and your equine(s). We want to avoid as much movement in the herd as possible for stability, calm and familiarity. So it’s important that we are the right facility for you both.

If we think we will be suitable we will then invite you to come and visit the yard (you can visit us multiple times if you like). If you are happy to sign up we will offer you a contract and agree a move in date.
